Shilla Definition

A historical title or name, often referring to the Silla Kingdom, a pre-modern state that existed in the southern part of the Korean Peninsula from the 3rd to the early 10th century, which later constituted the southeastern part of Unified Silla, one of the three Silla kingdoms of ancient Korea.
