Mercosur Definition

Mercosur (Mercado Común delSur in Spanish) is a regional economic community that includes Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay, and Uruguay, and aims to create a customs union and a common market with free movement of goods, services, and factors of production. It was founded in 1991 as the Southern Common Market.
